Green Horizons Conservation Group

Photography Competition 2008

It has been determined that the production of greenhouse gases and the resulting affect our carbon footprint has on Earth is contributing to global climate changes.

The Green Horizons Conservation Group, through the Green Horizons "Kidz Club", has launched a photography competition for students (grade levels 1 - 12) to illustrate the importance of nature in our environment. For more information, read the rules and regulations carefully.

The theme for the 2008 competition is: Nature in Urban Spaces

The winning school from each level (see rules and regulations) will be awarded 100 carbon offset units, corresponding to 500 planted trees. The photographers of the winning photos will be awarded seed packets to start their own horticulture project.

Read the rules and regulations carefully for more information.
